Most bathroom problems we fix in restoration jobs come from two things: showers that weren't waterproofed properly, and exhaust fans that don't vent outside. Both are hidden once the tile goes up. So on our quotes, waterproofing and ventilation are separate lines, not buried inside "tile work".

You'll also see the fixtures, vanity, tile and labour separately, so you can put money where it counts: a better shower valve or waterproofing system, a simpler tile.
